(PharmaNewsWire.Com, January 22, 2017 ) Aarhus -- Earlier they were internationally known for helping cyclist like Jan Ullrich and Bjarne Riis to win the Tour de France. But also people with incurable eye diseases traveled to Denmark to get help. Now they have a new acupuncture clinic in Århus, the new Boel Akupunktur Århus.
In the year 2000 founder John Boel Sr got the award "Acupuncturist of the Century" by the international acupuncture organization Medizina Alternativa as the only acupuncturist ever to achieve that prestigious title.
"For many years my father, John Boel Sr, and myself made great results treating different diseases. But we could only treat so many patients each day and had difficulty training others to our own level. But when Senior retired from treating patients in 2014 I had to figure out how to train others to get our results. During 2015 I finally got the acupuncture procedures made so simple that others could learn them with ease. In 2016 we opened a clinic in Odense and now we are ready to open another one."
When asked if that is the only change they have made owner John Boel Jr explains.
"During the last years we have specialized more and more in helping elderly people with chronic problems like Macular Degeneration, Neuropathy, Glaucoma, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, osteoarthritis and other such diseases. When people found out that it was possible to get help for these otherwise incurable conditions our front door almost got knocked down. To handle the amount of elderly people wanting us to help them we are now opening the new clinic."
