(PharmaNewsWire.Com, June 01, 2017 ) An oscilloscope is a testing and measuring device used to monitor voltage or current passed to or from an electronic component or device. Oscilloscopes were originally available only in analog; however, digital versions of these devices are available currently. A digital oscilloscope requires an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) to convert voltage into digital information. It stores these signals as a series of samples until they reassemble as a waveform that displays the information on the screen. Digital oscilloscopes also store the processed signals in a digital format for future reference.
